Whitening

Over time, teeth will darken due to the food and beverages you consume, medications, illness, tobacco use, or improper dental hygiene.

Teeth whitening is growing in popularity and is one of the most commonly requested services offered by our practice. We use proven, industry-approved methods, because the truth of the matter is over-the-counter solutions usually just do not work. Using a gentle hydrogen-peroxide, gel-activated solution, we can whiten your smile in just one visit.

We proudly offer ZOOM!® whitening.

Veneers

Veneers are thin, semi-translucent “shells” that are permanently bonded to your teeth, typically your front teeth. They are customized for each patient, and they painlessly improve the appearance of your smile. Veneers can help you avoid orthodontic treatment, and in most cases, veneer application can be completed in just two office visits.

Veneers are often used for:

  • Spaces between the teeth
  • Broken or chipped teeth
  • Unsightly, stained or discolored teeth
  • Crooked or misshapen teeth

Composite Bonding

As the name suggests, this procedure involves bonding either a plastic or resin composite material to existing teeth. Unlike veneers, bonding removes little, if any, of the original tooth.

Composite bonding has many advantages. It is a quick process that usually lasts less than an hour. It does not impact the tooth’s original structure and is relatively inexpensive. Available in many different shades, composite bonds provide better matching to the natural color of your teeth. However, composite bonds are not as durable and stain more easily than veneers. They may need to eventually be retouched or repaired. In order to ensure the longest possible duration of composite bonds, you should be sure to brush and floss daily.
